Description:
A beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) derived either from the bark of the willow tree or synthesized from phenol. It is a powerful keratolytic and exfoliating ingredient widely used in anti-acne, anti-dandruff, and skin-renewal formulations. Highly preferred by dermatologists for its ability to deeply cleanse pores, reduce acne, and smooth skin texture.

Solubility:
Insoluble in water. Soluble in ethanol and alcohol.

0.5% – 5%

3.5 – 4.0
