Description:
This organic off-white glossy powdered acid is derived from microbiological fermentation using fungi or malting rice. It is widely used in skincare for its skin-lightening, anti-aging, and antioxidant properties, making it a popular choice in creams, lotions, serums, and soaps.
Solubility:
Soluble in water, ethanol, and acetone; sparingly soluble in ether, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and pyridine; difficultly soluble in most other liquids.
Usage Rate:
1% – 4% depending on formulation.
Recommended pH Range:
Stable around pH 4.
