Description:
A water-like, volatile silicone derived synthetically but based on naturally occurring oxygen and silicones. Part of the cyclic dimethyl siloxane family, it is used widely for its lightweight, non-greasy feel and excellent spreading properties in cosmetic formulations.

Solubility:
Soluble in alcohols, silicones, and organic solvents; insoluble in water.

Recommended pH Range:
Stable across a wide pH range; compatible with most cosmetic formulations.
